Finding Inspiration at Every Turn

The Michael Batt Foundation (MBF) is a not-for-profit organization based in Plymouth, England, dedicated to providing individualized, person-centred support to adults in Devon and Cornwall. Established on December 24, 1999, MBF offers community-based services for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health challenges, autism spectrum conditions, and other complex needs.

Big Changes at MBF

The service found itself in some difficult times in 2023 and the organisation restructured, bringing in a completely new management and senior team. This team along with selected members of old team worked tirelessly for the people they support and have managed to turn the service round.

Over the last few years, MBF has seen changes in its top level leadership team. Notably, Michael John Leslie Batt, the founder, resigned as director on April 15, 2024. With this came a change in name from The Michael Batt Foundation to MBF Care

As of November 2024, the active directors include Christopher John Holl and Gemma Louise Slater who are stead fast and determined to continue to grow and improve MBF Care for many years to come.

Through its commitment to quality and continuous improvement, MBF Care continues to make a positive impact in the community by supporting individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
