Subject Access Requests (SAR's)

In accordance with Section 7 of the Data Protection Act an individual has the right to see a copy of the information an organisation holds about them. Individuals may exercise the right by making a written ‘Subject Access Request’ (SAR). A SAR enables individuals to find out what personal data an organisation holds about them, why it is held and with whom an organisation shares the data.
